Why do people think DQIX will sell monumentally better than VIII?

FF XIII is going to sell well though. I just think DQ IX will sell better. FF XIII might be the #2 best selling RPG this gen.

 

I agree about Japan, but i'm not so sure about Worldwide sales. I think localizling the IV - VI remakes will help drive sales in NA and EU, but I think DQIX will finish with lifetime sales of around 6 Million, whereas I think FFXIII will reach 7 Million.

Yeah, I agree, that's a good prediction. 5.5-6.5M for DQIX, and 6.5-7.5M for FFXIII
