I don't want to be anal, but I read "price cut" and I expected to see USD 399," he added. "When I hear the words "price cut" I expect to see a price cut." I for one, agree with him. This is not just a matter of semantics, it's logical: The 60 GB PS3 got a price cut, that's for sure. But if we look at the PS3 as a whole, the minimum price at which you can get it it's still $499, exactly the same as when it was launched.

So if the 360 core system got discontinued and the Premium was reduced to $299...this would be viewed as greater value at the same prices?
FACT - The 60GB PS3 was $599 last week. The 60GB PS3 is now $499....it is a $100 price cut FACT.
Prediction (June 12th 2017)
Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)
