Thanks Stof, I completely agree. And remember Nintendo has not stopped making Wii games at all.
They announced they are working on Kirby Wii and a from the ground up Wii Zelda a long time ago. Mario Sports games are already coming (Mario Strikers Charged) and I'm sure Starfox is on it's way. To add to that they are making Golden Sun Wii (the first time this amazing RPG has ventured into the 3D space), Fire Emblem Wii, Disaster Day of Crisis (a new IP, something that they didn't have many of last generation), Battalion Wars 2, Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, Endless Ocean (not sure wtf this one is), Project H.A.M.M.E.R. if it's not canceled, and so much more.
It's incredibly ridiculous to say Nintendo doesn't care about the hardcore gamer. They are making/have made 3 times as many hardcore games as casual games.
