I really liked it. I liked that it encouraged you to be sneaky at times too. The game is pretty gorgeous, and I really like the character designs. The pacing of the demo was great too. I will definitely pick this game up.
I was able to beat the Japanese demo (and some of that stuff was definitely harder to figure out without being able to read English...), so I definitely didn't have as many problems with the controls as you.
