Had MS have competed with TiVo, I think they would have been in much more profit by now, and may even have greater marketshare (well it would, seeing as I think TiVo only really exists in the US, outside of the US it isn't that big - I don't know ANYONE with TiVo, and I've only ever seen one in a store).
