i remember reading about some study shown. back in the earlier generation, there was more focus in upbringing a child, and less attention on things like gaming. nowadays, the kids who were brought up with constant new toys are adults now and can afford to buy the things they like and support their hobbies. nowadays, 20-40 year olds, even with kids, are still attached to the video games cuz it grew up with them. just like how peopel say anime is not just for kids.
