And tbh even tough we are still not seeing it the fact that Ubi actually promissed 12 games ( signs of 3rd party studios support ) and many companies like Planet Moon had shown interest in the resurection of the PSP , and with the support of the Japanese industry we could see the PSP comming back this year in Japan . Remember back at the beginning of 07 most of the games that where released where in production in 06 maybe even 05 .
Also the fact that PSP software sales where almost the same in 07 and 06 even with the hardware bump , and the PSP can maintaine an even a bit higher level now with arguably no killer game on the horizon is pretty impressive IMO , and yes that shows that the PSP is actually seeing an overall boost . A big one ? No . But IMO it will be enough for most developers to at least go for another round ... ( Similr to the end of the life period of the GC ) .
