I loved GUN on PSP. Patapon is great, in my opinion, but I never cared for LocoRoco.

And why do you keep going on and on about a drought? God of War: Chains of Olympus, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2, Patapon, Secret Agent Clank, Wipeout Pulse, Echocrome, Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice have all been released this year, not to mention many multiplats like MLB 08: The Show and Lego Indiana Jones. You don't own any of those games it appears, so what exactly are you expecting?

I have a problem with those key points: the first is that Shots and Wipeout are basically just the same game though, like a version 1.5 if you will.

And you mention many multiplats... I see nothing but cash-in, and low budget card games :P making it to the psp

I buy the psp handbook every year, but this years' version was just sad. It is basically 3/4 of last years handbook, with the exception that they cluster alot of the features to make it seem bigger than it really is. In their previews for this years upcoming games, I started feeling depressed, because, the biggest 3rd party release (not counting final fantasy) is another star wars game.. the force unleashed which is a scaled-down port.

I don't know, maybe I am just expecting too much of Sony... oh wait, i'm not. I paid 250$ for my handheld and I expect a new IP each year that is  beyond amazing to me. (echocrome is a 10$ downloadable game, and like i said earlier, patapon did not light my world on fire) E3 better be hiding something big.

Upgrade of the same game doesn't matter when you don't own that game to begin with. Doesn't matter if you see multiplats as cash-ins, most are well made games or bad just as the console version is bad. And is it Sony's fault you don't like God of War or Final Fantasy? The games released in just this half of the year could almost compete with all of 2007 - The difference is that the PSP is now recieving much less 3rd party support.

It does when you never wanted the first game to begin with/ or were disapointed with the first (I do own wipeout pure, sucka!)

I'm not talking about the good kind of multiplat. I'm talking about the wall-E's,  and the Cars and every other cash-in game right now.

Yes, i think it is their fault, 2 sequels/prequels/ continuations in a series----- isn't going to cut it for the people who happen to not play final fantasy/ gawd of war (quite a few, even though you may not comprehend that)

I thought 2007 was an ok year.. some good games you know? But... this year is X2 worse.

.......... And you defend the PSP's multiplat releases... lol.

even the big wigs admitted it. waaaaaaaaaaay back in may.

The article gives me little hope, even though it ends on an upbeat note.
