Actually lets take a different tack on this one. Statutory rape laws are put in place because early sexual encounters can severely harm a child both physically and mentally. Animal sex laws are in place because the animal is not considered intelligent and thus is thought to never be able to consent. How is this similar in any way to two consenting adults doing anything? What is the parrallel you are trying to draw?
