Many don't have HD TVs, and even many that do don't actually care about Blu Ray, or can't afford to buy in. I'm not even speaking on the PS3 itself, because that's understandable. The prices of Blu Ray movies are outrageous.

Actually I see plenty of Blu-ray movies going for $35 when they would have been $25 at most on DVD. So, yeah, much more expensive.

I also bear witness to the higher prices of Blu-ray movies that are less than 6 months old.
