Yes but what is the benefit of that space? 

All A CD/DVD/BD is, is a storage medium. If you see that there was a reason to go 13x in storage capacity to go from CD to DVD, then why don't you see there is a reason to go 44x from DVD to 400 Gig BD?

If I could get a season of Lost on one disk for the same price, I would love that. That's worth it to me right there (plus it's worth it to them, as it's cheaper manufacturing, packaging, and shipping).

 

1. Blu-Ray isn't at 400GB yet. The discs won't be complatible with the PS3 (look up the stories for that). So that advantage isn't there.

2. Yet it's highly unlikely they would every be sold for that cheap.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
