And FF:CC had good fur on it. LAIR is gonna have good fur. Black and White2 had some damn good fur as well.
Play some more games before you say it's not been done.
Star Fox Adventures is the first one I can think of. It looked pretty, but didn't help the game from not-sucking ;)
