Current generation consoles really could not handle WoW. It's not the graphics, it's the storage space: the game is 4 discs to start with, and I now have 3.5 years worth of patches built on top of that. My current WoW folder is 27 GB.

All Core 360 users, All Premium 360 Users, All 20 GB PS3 users, and soon all 40 GB PS3 users wouldn't have enough room even if it was the only thing on their HD.

I don't expect consoles will be ready for MMOs until next generation.

My current WoW folder is under 8.5 gigs. You can delete the old patch info and it won't hurt a thing. I don't know what else you have in there, but your WoW folder is bloated way past what it needs to be. You could easily put current WoW plus expansions onto the HDD of the 360 and PS3. It would eat up a lot of their space, but it could be done. You could also just put the game on a dual-layer DVD and play it off of that, but it would get screwed every patch. My guildmate did that for a while.

Edit: I just checked and found my screen shot folder takes up a lot more space than I thought. The entire game is under 8gigs. This is with the expansion and all patches installed.

I have a ton of custom content.
