To many, 9.75 of them, all went out and bought the PS1 game. That was over 11 years ago. They are still throwing out FF7 branded stuff. After 11 years. But again honestly, who knows. Just because hating on SE and FF12 is the popular thing to do on the internet doesn't mean that it is true.
And it is possible that FF13 could sell 10 million units. Is it probable? not really, but it will sell a good amount. It is like some people think that 5+ million copies sold is bad or something just because Halo and GTA sell so much, which is what most FFs do.
