Don't get me wrong. Wii Fit is a great workout thing for home. Atleast a lot better and fun than those things you see on the commercials. But as a gamer I dont really care about this. This thing is meant for my mom not for me....

Exactly. I think DDR is a better workout for gamers. For non-gamers the DDR has exercise modes.

You need to think more like a gamer.

What do you mean by that? DDR is an actual game.

You don't have to use the board for things you don't like. For example, playing WiiFit on WiiBoard.

There will be games develope for it. I am sure some kind of surfing game will be released within the first 6 months of WiiBoard release.

It's true Nintendo opened up the market for people never played and/or interested in gaming. That doesn't stop you from using those tools for your gaming needs.

As for the DDR mat, that was a simple redirection of input/buttons. There's really not much else you can do with it.

The WiiBoard is different. I'll just let you use your imagination on what you can use/do with the board.

We'll see, but DDR is still a better exercise game.

Might be for most people.  Isn't for me since I can't jump due to my bad hip but I'm not the market.  As galaki touched on though the Wii board could become another innovative way to add control features to regular games in a way the DDR pad never could.  Admittedly, for it to be fully utilized 3rd parties are really going to have to start thinking about more than just adding more polys to their games so I'm not too optimistic about that at the moment.  At any rate, the most important thing is that Wii Fit will outsell every DDR ever made by a wide margin.  Probably in its first quarter.
