It probably would have been better, but probably less feasible. Adding these two games to the bundle costs 15 pounds or less; dropping the price is an instant 75 pound loss. That's a big deal, and Sony's pockets are deep, but not Microsoft-deep. 

Still, Sony needs to move on the European market, and this is a good step. I still believe Sony has a strong chance at taking Europe, or at least competing toe to toe with the Wii.
