I'm a fan of online shooters, pc only though and yes I play CoD4 online. And honestly while I do see the enjoyment, It's usually quickly drained. Heli killings and grenade spamming are the main offenders. If it was only 1, or two maps then ok... but if you have Killhouse, the Ship, Shipment, Wetworks etc all in a row and grenades are comming from everywhere then I'm quickly done. And you can't escape it by going some other server as it's always the same.
Perhaps it's because I'm more of a battlefield player and enjoy the idea of being able to do anything else, going in a completely different direction if one thing doesn't work out... you generally don't have that option in CoD4 where you will always end up in the same centre-stage bottleneck. Unless you like sniping, which I don't. And neither should you
