spoilers:
1 music . the music is really great sometimes, but when those annoying brats started to sing a lame song to their grandma the game lost its momentum.
2. story. What can i say? its interesting, but very easy to figure out. LIke that bad guy(dont remember his name) i knew from the first moment i saw his oversized eyebrows that he was the bad guy in the game. The story also gets really boring from time to time. LIke those flash backs and stuff like that, also its very annoying when those brats run away over and over.
3. Voice acting. The voice acting is annoying some times due to the bad subtitles. I for one prefer japanese audio but the english subtitles is just the manuscript from the english audio. And thats the problem, the eng manuscript isnt the same as the japanese and the subtitle speed is either to fast or to slow. So i had to put on english audio. The english voices is not as good as the japanese ones but their not bad, but i did notice that they were out of sync some times.
4. gameplay, its turn based, and i like turn based but except the ring system the games delivers nothing new and i have to say the attacks feels like they've been ripped of ff9. Also i hate that you cant wear more than 1 or 2 items and that you cant equip more than 7-8 abilites(based on how many seeds slot you have)
The fact is the combat system ff 9 has is better than lost odysseys'. Also the ring thingy is way to easy and getting a perfect is child play.
5. design. The charcters looks good but not as good as ff imo. LIke that bad guy he looks like chewbacca and kaim or whatever(the good guy?) wears a very hmm what should i say. Gay outfit? still the game looks good. Cut scenes are not on par with ff i can tell you that right away also theres too much loading and framrate drops.
All in all its a good game, but its not final fantasy.

The english voices actually have better lypsyncing than the japanese voices. The art style has a very asian look which is probably why some don't like it. How are the cutscenes not as good as FF?
