But seriously... PSP2 is coming. I really hope for Sony's sake its just a PSPLite - i.e. a fully PSP backwards/forwards compatible device. http://www.gametab.com/news/840378/ If they are releasing the *next* PSP now - they will kill the PSP completely: 1/ Most people won't upgrade, as the PSP alone costs heaps 2/ Will developers support the PSP2 (with no install base), or the dead PSP1? 3/ Games for the first PSP will dry up completely? 4/ 8Gig flash? That alone costs $100-$150US? How much will this sucker cost? Why not just allow USB flash keys to be used? 5/ Touch screen? I doubt it. The problem with the PSP is that it is too large/heavy to hold in one hand (and isn't designed for it), so unless you have THREE hands - no way to use the touch screen. Anyway, I'll stop ranting. Im sure this is compatible - anything else signals the *death* of the PSP right now, and it wouldn't make sense for Sony to do this.
