I find avatar's connectivity with Eastern folklore, the engaging storyline and deep subjects (Genocide? Spirituality? Loss, betrayal, mind alterations etc) all great aspects. I find it amazing how they can get all these different elements together and make them fit for people of all ages. The only other cartoons to me that managed to do this where a Dutch one you never heard of, and Batman TAS. |
