What a welcome surprise even if it releases in 2028. It's not a sequel to Days Gone, not confirmed whether its a new IP, and it has co-op elements. They also probably reused a ton of assets from their cancelled project. I think there's a good chance it could be Syphon Filter lol.

The most interesting part of that rumor for me is that based in the linkedin of people who were fired when the service was cancelled this game was in development at the same time. Bend a then 120 people studio working in 2 games at the same time sounds like a mid budget game even if they were making use of external backup studios, the idea of a co-op-not service-mid budget-third person game from Bend is way more interesting to me than a Days Gone sequel. I liked Days Gone but I didn't pay for it lol I played on PS+ and I never bought the idea of the IP being at the level of cheaper, better and more successful IPs like the Ghost franchise. 

I like the idea of Bend making a smaller game that is basically their last chance, make or break.
