On the topic of less is more: man this site has been bone dry this past seven days. What's going on? Like I've never seen this place so unusually quiet... can't find many threads breaking past one or two pages. I appreciate the small, cozy environment of VGChartz, but with how quiet things have been here, I've actually started dipping my toes into other forums like NeoGAF and GameFAQs. A little too big for my liking but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I think it's just that things have been very quiet in terms of gaming news since the last round of shows and stuff. There's less big happenings to discuss so people check in less. These things tend to cycle, things usually pick up a bit once there's more to talk about.

In late October? We just had Phantom Blade Zero debut as the highest rated game of the year, the Xbox COO resigned, Switch 2 just got annihilated by AI (MKWorld is now playable on PC, for instance), OoTRemake and GTAVI are on the horizon, and I can just keep on going. This site is just toast, I really don't see any other way around it.
