I noticed you did horribly, 2nd place is usually an awful place to be, I keep getting thunderclouds when in 2nd which is a power-up I despise.... it only has an advantage if you get it early on when people are stillclumped together, but I nearly always get it when I am too far behind you to catch up, and too far ahead of someone else. Btw, how do you guys drive on Grumble Volcano? In most races I fall at least once into the lava because I jump past the moving platforms but not far enough to stay on the track. I always end up falling in that small gap, happened thrice in the the third GP. The moving platforms are easy... if you do a mini turbo just before the edge (as well as a trick) you can miss them entirely.... but general driving you will land on the end. Perhaps you are doing a mini turbo too early? or perhaps you are doing a wheelie right up to the edges?, the extra speed from a wheelie might just push your jump too far (and not far enough) |
