With no line whatsoever?
Do you think I should be allowed to threaten you, call you stupid or whatever else, just because we're online?

There is a big difference between your abortion example and these other examples.
It is whether you are targeting someone.
Saying "I think abortion is murder" is different from saying "people who have abortions are murderous POS".
There's a difference between expressing your opinion on something and attacking people - even if technically one of those statements can logically come from the other. You're still not attacking people by expressing the opinion.

I also think this is missing the point. Tolerance is about accepting people, not their actions. I can be happy to have someone in my house and be upset that they're peeing in my hallway.
I can tolerate any kind of people in my kids' classes, but I can't tolerate someone bullying them and stealing their lunch money.
