Compared to modern methodology where everything below 8 is trash, yeah, I'm harsh.

But my scoring stems from Adventure Gamer scoring system, all the way back from late 90s, where something that is scored 3-3.5 stars (into which my score for Blood of Dawnwalker translates) is considered something that you should definitely play if you're fan of the genre. 4.5 and 5 stars were rare and reserved only for truly remarkable games (unfortunately, in last 5-10 years their standards deteriorated and they've conformed with industry).
