Almost finished The Blood of Dawnwalker.
While (unfortunately) influence of Witcher 3 and AAA pseudo-action-RPGs is more than obvious, this is (almost) proper RPG. As an AA game, it lacks some of the polish, and world tends to be somewhat undercooked compared to high end AAA productions, but it delivers on what it promised, a narrative sandbox - I believe this will be copied in said AAA productions in the future.
Oh, and directional combat is quite satisfying.
