Trump promised every adult in the US a $5000 check if the Republicans keep control of the government in the midterms. A move that would cost about a trillion dollars and has as good a chance of happening as me crapping out gold. They could keep both the house and the senate and Trump wouldn’t give a penny. Has anyone gotten their tariff checks yet?
He also rambled on and on about how amazing and unprecedented the success of the economy is. Am I putting too much faith in Trump voters to assume that they are not buying in to all of this absolute horse shit?
