A year on the market and you think switch 2 is maxed out? This is still early days of optimisation for it. And that was capcom, not nintendo. |
The days of manually writing assembly code are over. Optimization isn't what it used to be (not because the devs are lazy but the games have grown so big) and performance scale is non-linear. Simply dropping resolution or disabling ray tracing cannot magically overcome structural bottlenecks.
