But that wasn't Sony's strategy. Sony's strategy was to throw all of their studios at GAAS projects and then cancel 70% of them. Concord is part of the 30%.

This is a fake narrative. Very few existing developers of original content single player games were moved onto Live Service games. Naughty Dogs multiplayer was spun off from the second game years before there was a Live Service push. Naughty dog had a history of doing multiplayer support, and it appeared to be their own choice to go this route. Guerrilla Games made a Live service horizon, but this was partly about a realisation of their original vision for Horizon: Zero Dawn which was originally intended as two-player co-op during its prototyping, but was dropped for technical reasons.
