Guys chill I was just having fun lol. Not a fan overall of DLSS5, how it feels, and what it seems to promise, but I can see it and future iterations being useful tools IF used properly and by the artists themselves to match their intent and without plagiarizing the work of a different artist.
So far I'm not a fan of DLSS5... there is just a lot to worry about. It's computationally expensive and artistically bland and fake to my eyes even in the "good" examples. To say nothing about what AI is doing to component prices.
But I'm not an expert on AI and how it will evolve, so I don't have very strong opinions yet on many of its applications. I think it can be a wonderful tool for good, but big corpos will misuse it and fuck us up.
