Because the joking/trolling accusation is actually the kind alternative.
A lot of what you're saying doesn't really make sense.
| Hardstuck-Platinum said: Yes 100% it is. Romance is the worst form of wokeness IMHO because it has convinced so many people it is healthy and normal when it's not. Now. we have a whole GTA game fundamentally built around it. If you don't enjoy reading Romance novels and watching Romance movies because you presumably think they're too soft, why would you enjoy it in your GTA game? |
I would argue that romance is neither woke or not woke. But if anything, it's not woke, because it heavily appeals to the conservative view of family. It has basically always existed. The Odyssey was composed almost 3,000 years ago and it has romance elements.
Additionally plenty of men are interested in romantic aspects when it's not the focus. Men like having romance in their action movies. Because it's straight and masculine of a man to like women. They don't like when the whole story is about getting flowers and having drama - they don't like that whole will they, won't they get together.
But they absolutely love other versions of romance. Saving the girl is an absurdly common trope.

That is one of the softest and lamest things I have ever heard or seen in a videogame. A man being soft like that isn't natural or masculine, and if it's not natural or fitting to their natural sex, then it's considered "woke". |
I think it's ludicrous to argue that a man making his own choices about clothes is soft.
I don't know what world you live in where that's the softest/lamest thing you've ever heard in a video game.
Very little about our modern world is natural by the way. We weren't born with pants and shirts. We weren't born with phones attached to our hands. The 40 hour work week isn't natural. Eating beef 7 times a week isn't natural. Injecting steroids isn't natural.
Basically everything that you feel is natural is an invention of modern culture. It was normal for a man to wear robes and have long hair thousands of years ago.
And a lot of the things that you rail against as being unnatural are actually universal, like romance even is pretty universal. Those things are genuinely and obviously natural, because we see them in every single culture on the face of the Earth, in every single time period imaginable.
