Well, the example you shared could never be objective. It's based on personal preferences and priorities, not on any demonstrable fact. You could say, objectively, that game A sold X copies and scored Y on Metacritic, but you cannot say, objectively, that game A is good or bad. The quality of a game, or a line-up of games, is informed by subjective opinions on what is important in a video game.
As a result, this sort of comment really shouldn't bother anyone, as long as it's delivered respectfully and backed up with some sort of rationale. This forum survives on differences of opinion, after all.
