Not necessarily. I mean, I can tell you right now that the PS2 had the best library in the history of 3D gaming and at the same time also tell you that I enjoyed my Dreamcast more. Same with a lot of things.
But yes, very few people seem to even understand such a concept, let alone practice it. So I get what you're saying.
