There was this podcast last month with the Head of Communications at Blaze and Digital Foundry about Evercade, and he dropped that they have sold over 1.5 million cartridges since Evercade's beginning. Which was in 2020. Not bad at all considering how old the games were on the majority of these cartridges those first few years. It was overwhelmingly 70s and 80s games. Even including Commodore 64 titles. Which was a big reason why I didn't have much interest in the platform. Too niche and too old for me personally lol.

Now that they're getting more well known titles, such as Banjo and Doom, and physical gaming taking such a massive hit by 2028, Evercade may be in the right place at the right time to take full advantage. Hopefully they'll drop even more big hits in 2027 to further establish themselves.
