I've known about Evercade since its inception, but didn't really care much for it at the time. But seeing how much progress they've made over the past couple of years, and with the concept of physical gaming diminishing going forward, Evercade is still going to be here, releasing physical cartridges as well as full-color manuals with each cartridge.

Now that they've got the Banjo collection and Doom collection, I've decided to dip my toes into the ecosystem. Got the Nexus on pre-order (which comes with a physical copy of the Banjo collection), and I've ordered the VS-R, the home console. I've also picked up a couple more cartridges alongside the Doom collection in Toaplan and Neo Geo. I'll pick some more up as time goes on, but this has got me wondering, since the Nexus is primarily aimed at 32 and 64-bit games, greatly opening up the possibilities, what cartridges do you hope make their way to Evercade?

I'm primarily making lists of companies that Evercade has previously partnered with, defunct companies, and overall feasibility (licensed games such as Goldeneye, I imagine, would be a nightmare)

1) Quake collection - Coming off the Doom collection, a Quake collection seems like an obvious continuation of the partnership with id.

2) Treasure collection - Treasure exists, but only in name these days. Would love to have a collection with the likes of Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, Alien Soldier, and Radiant Silvergun. Just to name several.

3) Spyro/Crash collection - Whether on a single cartridge or two, it would be great to have the original trilogies of both franchises. Seeing the work being done with both Banjo games, essentially making the Evercade collection the BEST remaster efforts yet, it would be incredible to have the same treatment done with these 6 games.

4) Midway collection - Rampage, Spy Hunter, NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, Hydro Thunder, Joust, Mortal Kombat. There's so many options from Midway's catalog that I'm honestly surprised Evercade hasn't been able to do yet. Can probably get away with 2 or 3 cartridges from the company alone.

5) Psygnosis collection - While I grew up on their PS1 era of games and would much prefer to see that kind of collection, it would probably be easier to get their 80s and early 90s Amiga catalog of games, but even then, it would be great just to have their games available again. I would be over the moon though if any of the WipEout, Colony Wars, Destruction Derby, or G-Police games were included.

6) Rare collection 2 - First collection is already out and mainly consists of Rare's games from the 80s, primarily when they were NOT called Rare. With a couple of exceptions. Would love for a follow-up cartridge to include the rest of their N64 catalog that they actually own, now that both Banjo games are getting released. Killer Instinct Gold, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps, and Perfect Dark.

Which cartridges would you like to see from the 8-, 16-, 32-, or 64-bit eras?
