I still use my 160GB model for CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, stored music, stored video clips, I don't game on it anymore though. And using a Dualsense wired to use it as my PS3 controllers are all dead. Maybe I'll play Pixeljunk Eden again, mostly for the music which the soundtrack of is also on the ps3. Sometimes I just browse the XMB to see all the little videos play and music from the installed games.

I would instantly buy a newly released PS3 model with SSD drive. You can do it yourself, but I wouldn't mind a smaller form factor, PS2 sized PS3 with 1 Tb SSD and 4K blu-ray playback, upgraded multi media machine.
