Trump scales back US military drills with South Korea, cites relationship with North's Kim Jong Un
U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered the Pentagon to scale back joint military exercises with South Korea, citing his "very good" relationship with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Trump became the first sitting American president to step into North Korea in 2019, in what was the last of their three high-level meetings during Trump’s first term.
