It's probably pretty hot where you are right now, so why not cool off with some Jet Ski Video games:
But maybe you are at work right now and can't watch a video while you are silently skiving off, so here's what I covered.

*First off all Wave Race 64. The 20fps masterpiece on Nintendo 64 is still decent fun for about three levels until the vibe is ruined when the game asks you to go Jet Skiing on a rainy day in an industrial estate.

*After that I look at Aqua Jet which is a 1996 Arcade game by Namco, which has recently been repackaged by Hamster for the PS5 & Switch 2. If you'll enjoy this pretty much comes down it if you still enjoy Ridge Racer 1 or not. Aqua jet only has one track; it's a fun track and the gameplay is fun too, but it's a short experience.

*Then we have Wave Runner by Sega on Model 2 arcade hardware. Great game, game graphics, great sound, great vibe, shit emulation either through MAME or M2 Emu.

*But there is also Waver Runner GP which runs on Naomi hardware. Very similar to the first game, but something doesn't feel right, and the tracks are no where near as fun.

* Finally Kandagawa Jet Girls (PS4/Steam) is almost the full package. Lots of great tracks to race on, gun combat, nice graphics, fun mini games, progression system that allows for upgrades to your Jet Ski, has a story but I just skipped it as it looked like low budget Waifu nonsense. 30fps on PS4/5 but 60fps on Steam. However £6 most of the time on PlayStation Store and £35 on Steam. Yet another example of digital games being cheaper on PlayStation than PC.
But please do watch the video, it's pretty good!
