Looks like reports were exaggerated. I hate the amount of layoffs we've had, but this may have been a case where the studio got bigger than they needed to be. Which happened to a lot of studios during the COVID gaming boom. Hopefully this means that id will mitigate the risk of spending too much on new games and can be successful with the audience they bring in without having to set the gaming world on fire.
