The late Gen-Z and early Gen Alpha kids will be moving on from Playstation 5 to play on their smartphones and tablets. A $1000 system is not going to be something they can afford. The people that can afford a $1000 system and are not into PC gaming are hardcore physical gamers. But Sony just pissed them all off so good luck getting sales from them either.
