I still can't believe the nerve and idiocy of Sony choosing to announce this before Microsoft. I'm sure them goofs didn't expect a fraction of the outrage they're getting. Good 😋
I don't see them backtracking, but they'll probably announce some major improvements in digital ownership and refund policies, and may release a PS6 disc drive add on for backwards compatbility and give PS5 an extra couple of years of disc support. Best case scenario is they will allow expensive limited print games for collectors. It's still shocking to me that they chose this over making a price gap between physical and digital like Nintendo. The outrage could have easily been avoided by a move like this. These suits' brains are wired differently!
