7500 replies in the US PS Blog, seems like the last big round number for a good while.
It had more than 50000 on Twitter after a few hours.

Sony doesn't even bother to address it, the cowardly move expected from a company that doesn't care about anything else than paint a bigger $ as a target on customers.

Have any big news outlets reached to Sony to ask about it? Ask about their first party games physical sales ratio, the total amounts in the millions games like God of War and Spider Man have sold physical but now get the middle finger? I have seem articles, but where is the direct confrontation about how the actual number of customers are simply deleted from their spreadsheets? Where is actual, in the face, journalism when there is a need for it?

What response from them would actually satisfy you? I'm curious to know.

Besides, it's not Playstation's job to respond to what amounts to threats. The factory that produces discs is pivoting away to microlenses. There's nothing Playstation can do about that, except use this opportunity to get ahead of this being part of their PS6 announcement.

With so many sectors using physical media less (games and movies for example), the production of discs is obviously stalling. I imagine it's not a business that makes sense to remain in if they're going to start losing money running it.
