Not sure it's really a tribalism problem, or a problem that anyone can reasonably solve.
Social media, which I will define for this purpose very broadly as any part of the internet where you can comment or post your own thoughts, is for most not so much about listening to the opinions of others or discussing, but about seeking attention and validation for yourself. The best ways to do that are either preaching to the choir or being obnoxiuous and antagonistic. Either way taking any sort of a nuanced or middle of the road stance is not going to be productive to those aims.
I've personally kind of given up on finding any online community that will actually foster productive conversation or anything approaching real connection, or at least the kind I'm looking for. Ah well.

It's paid DLC. But there is a free version of ignoring which is just... ignoring.
