If they did this sort of thing in America all hell would break lose. In Australia voting is compulsory and you are forced to vote for jack asses who are only in politics for their own self interest and do not give a hoot about the people they represent.
Banning anything just gives way to the black market or increase imports. Increase imports damages the local industry.
