With all the negative news recently I thought it might be good to look on the brighter side; what was the last piece of gaming news that made you happy/excited, and why?

Mine's the announcement of indie shooter Cultic for consoles next month; been watching this one for years and thrilled I'll finally get the chance to play it on my platform of choice: https://www.vgchartz.com/article/468278/cultic-launches-july-23-for-switch-2-ps5-and-xbox-series/

That reminds me I still have Wrath: Eon of Ruin to finish

That was a fun surprise when it launched on PSVR2, never heard of it before, insta buy, insta fun.

I don't look into what's coming anymore. It's more fun this way when new content drops. Like the latest 'gaming news' that made me happy was Synthriders releasing a 13 song Lincoln Park DLC, insta buy.

I'm happy PSVR2 still gets supported by 3rd parties, It's too hot now for VR though :/ Heat wave has arrived.
