There are some positive developments that might be considered a win-win situation between those wanting data centers and those who are opposed. Remember when Microsoft experimented with situating a data center in the ocean? That would eliminate any need for electricity and burning fossil fuels. Google has built a data center in Nevada that uses geothermal energy.
