Data centers in space, yeah that won't fuck up the environment launching all those server racks up into space. Plus vacuum is a great insulator, how do you cool the data centers...
Estimates suggest radiating 1 MW of heat requires upwards of 2,500 m² of radiator space. A typical 100 MW terrestrial AI data center would require a radiator roughly the size of a massive festival ground, making launch and deployment incredibly complex.
Also great for latency lol.
Any truth in this?
CRASH IMMINENT: Ed Zitron Says AI Valuations Are Complete FRAUDS
I haven't watched it yet, just popped up
Anyway the cost to build AI space centers and environmental mess to launch all that into space, build a space elevator first.
