I don't know if EA/Ubisoft/Fortnite will go for this add-on route. They're likely giving a massive discount to MS because it's forced on people who might not even want it. I wouldn't be surprised if they get as low as $1/month for each gamepass ultimate subscriber.

If it's an add-on that you have to want ubisoft/EA/Fortnite and opt-in... Why would Ubisoft/EA/Fortnite give gamepass users a 50% discount to their subs? Because MS certainly isn't going to cover the cost of the discount.

The current advantage to them is guaranteed millions of additional subscribers. If it's opt-in their seems little benefit for them.

Yeah that is true. I was just thinking how Xbox could go about doing add-ons. But I guess not many people would pay for most of the 3rd party stuff. While right millions have access to all those games.
