| Leynos said: For new people to Onimusha and curious about the old. The first 2 games are in HD. They do follow a continued storyline but they can be played on their own just fine. I'd star with the first game. It plays like RE but with Samurai. Second game evolves away from the RE ties. Sadly 3 is not in HD yet. Dawn is coming to PS5. A good game but very different than the other 3. It was meant to be a soft reboot on a smaller budget. |
I tried the demo and it felt like an Onimusha game, at least to me.
My two biggest gripes with it are that it lacks colour, a common theme among many current games where vibrant colours don't exist anymore, and that there are only two control options and you can't customize it. I missed so many hits by pressing the wrong button that it affected my enjoyment of the demo.
Hopefully that second complain will be changed by the time the game launches.
Please excuse my bad English.
