What I worry about for Wolverine is that since the game will have such a strong overlap with the GTAVI crowd, it is possible sales and marketing will be completely eclipsed during the holiday rush for GTAVI. Initial sales will probably look solid, but I'm not sure if it'll be able to stay afloat. Again, this is a big budget production— I can't see this game cracking 10M LTD, not even with major price cuts. That's a problem.

It's similar to what happen to all of Nintendo first-party releases during Spring 2023 versus Tears of the Kingdom: Bayonetta Origins and Advanced Wars Remake completely bombed in large part due to being suffocated by Zelda. Even I remember looking forward to those two releases yet opting to skip because I wanted to save up for all my Zelda purchases.
